"IT-Nothilfepakt Südtirol"
A paralyzed IT infrastructure can have existence-threatening consequences if production can no longer be carried out, goods cannot be shipped and invoices cannot be issued.
For this reason, the idea of the “IT-Nothilfepakt Südtirol” was born, a cross-company cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between different companies from South Tyrol.
On Sept. 14, IT managers from various South Tyrolean companies met in Bressanone for a workshop on emergency/crisis management cybersecurity. Together with the speaker Michael Hochenrieder of the company #HVS Consulting from Munich, the group worked out concrete measures in case of IT emergencies.
The goal of the workshop was to develop preventive and reactive measures (including risk plans, checklists for procedures) and to strengthen the commitment of the participating IT managers and companies, so that in the event of a cyber attack, they will help each other in a mutual and uncomplicated manner, based on the South Tyrolean handshake quality.
Each company remains responsible for its own measures to protect against cyber attacks, but together they can help each other quickly and unbureaucratically to get the companies back on their feet in an emergency.
