Event at the NOI Techpark Bruneck
On Friday, May 26, 2023, the first IN MOTION – Tech Festival took place at the NOI Techpark in Brunico. In cooperation with our colleagues from AES, the Free University of Bolzano and the Fraunhofer Institute, the event was created to brainstorm ideas together for a better and more sustainable future.
The festival began with a Idea Contest, where young students, together with mentors from the different companies and the Fraunhofer Institute, worked out concepts on different topics, which were then presented at the festival. Georg from Intercable and his group developed an idea to solve the packaging problem.
Followed by presentations of the professional mountaineer Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner and Prof. Erwin Rauch, the solutions of the individual companies were presented – among others a substitute for the conventional filling material, at Intercable this is made of recycled material, which is manufactured from the own waste of the production. A technology exhibition was also held on the sidelines of the event, where various products were on display.
